The first award dedicated to the professional building services sector
An editorial initiative promoted by magazines Elettro, GT – Il Giornale del Termoidraulico, RCI – Riscaldamento Climatizzazione Idronica, Commercio Idrotermosanitario, Sicurezza and Transizione Energetica, addressed to all companies that stand out for innovation, technical quality and contribution to the growth of the building services sector.
Goals
The Awards recognize products, solutions and projects that:
- deliver technical excellence and reliability;
- promote integration between systems and technologies;
- provide concrete support to designers, installers and distributors;
- contribute to energy transition, safety and building services responsibility.
The initiative has editorial and cultural purposes, not commercial ones, and aims to promote best
practices in the building services sector.

To participate, simply complete the online application form available
here.
Each submission must include
- technical description of the product/project/solution;
- application field;
- benefits for professionals across the building services sector;
- supporting documentation (technical datasheets, images, case histories), if available.
Who can Participate
Participation is free of charge and open to:
- manufacturers and distributors of equipment, components, systems and building service solutions;
- companies operating in the electrical, HVAC & plumbing, security, renewables, automation and energy management sectors.

Technical Innovation Award
This award recognizes companies that have developed a truly innovative solution/product/product range from a technical and functional perspective. Innovation will not be assessed as an abstract concept, but based on the ability to introduce tangible improvements in performance, safety, regulatory compliance, reliability or simplification of work for building services professionals.

Product Integration Award
This category recognizes solutions designed to effectively interact with other systems and technologies. The award highlights products and platforms capable of natively integrating with electrical, HVAC, security, automation and renewable systems, facilitating integrated design and reducing complexity during installation and operation.

Digital Tool for Professionals
Dedicated to digital tools designed to support the daily work of designers, distributors, installers and technicians. This category includes design software, configurators, BIM tools, monitoring apps, technical support platforms or commissioning systems that improve operational efficiency and final performance quality.

Installer-Friendly Product Award
This award recognizes products/solutions that stand out for ease of installation, quick commissioning and simplified maintenance. The category values solutions designed with real attention to installers’ operational needs, reducing time, error margins and on-site complexity.

Technical Training Program
Recognizes technical training programs aimed at building services professionals. The award highlights structured, up-to-date and high-quality training initiatives capable of enhancing technical, regulatory and application expertise across the supply chain.

Technical Support Excellence
This award recognizes excellence in pre- and post-sales technical support. The category is dedicated to companies that stand out for availability, expertise and responsiveness in assisting designers, installers and distributors, contributing to the correct implementation of solutions in the field.

Long Seller Product Award
Recognizes a product or solution that has established itself over time as a market benchmark thanks to reliability, production continuity and appreciation by professionals.

Sustainability & Energy Efficiency Award
Dedicated to products, systems or solutions that make a concrete contribution to improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of building systems.

ESG Responsibility Award
Recognition for companies demonstrating a structured and credible approach to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues, with particular attention to their impact on the professional supply chain.

Best Case History Award
Awarded to a documented real project in which the use of building service solutions has generated measurable benefits in terms of efficiency, reliability, safety or sustainability. The category values collaboration between manufacturers, designers and installers.
Selection and Evaluation
The organizing secretariat will verify the completeness and consistency of applications before
admission to the final stage.
Winners will be selected by a jury composed of:
- magazines’ editorial teams;
- technical experts;
- industry professionals;
- input from website visitors through online voting.
Main Evaluation Criteria
- Technical and application value;
- Tangible innovation;
- Usefulness for designers, installers and distributors;
- Reliability and continuity over time;
- Environmental impact and sector responsibility.

Online voting by professionals:
until May 17 th, 2026
The jury’s decision is final
Awards and Ceremony
For each category, three finalist entries will be selected, including:
- one main winner;
- possible special mentions.
The results will be communicated through the organizing publications, editorial digital channels and during the official award ceremony, which will take place on July 14th 2026, at the Palazzo della
Cultura in Milan.
